Pixel Mapping and Video Chair - Fremd High School

Chicago was such a fun show! During this show I pixel mapped light strips that were placed around our set using Media Master and KlingNet. Additionally I was responsible for managing our recording team. For this show we set up 3 cameras one in each section of our auditorium, during the show there will be one person at each camera zooming in and out and making sure that we have the best angle. These cameras all output over HDMI into an HDMI to SDI converter box. My freshman year we pre-ran SDI cables through the ceiling so we just have to unwind it and plug it into the camera. The other end of these cables goes strait into or ATEM Video switcher where the audio levels and camera quality are managed. After this the ATEM outputs its program via SDI which then gets converted back to HDMI using a blackmagic converter and then goes into an Elgato 4K Capture Card. The Capture Card records and streams via OBS on a computer we have on the desk. Additionally the output of the capture card goes into our HDMI over ethernet solution which allows us to setup backstage monitors/TV's for watching the show and visual cues.

Pre-Work Day meeting, working on the light strips on the circle and arches today.
Arch light strips
Here are some additional lights that I wired and added to the back of the arch. They were cannon style rgb lights that are visible in the pink ish color here.
Another specialty light that we added, this one was in the audience for a couple of interactive scenes.
