A little more about my activities
Tech Crew
Tech Crew is my main source for almost all of my experience, our tech crew manages and works everything that happens in the auditorium inside and outside of school. In tech crew for the 25'-26' school year I will also be the Fremd Tech Crew President, the president is responsible for making job assignments creating calendars and making sure that the tech crew record (attached below) is updated and accurate.
Music
I am in curricular choir and band being in both top ensembles, along with being in the extracurricular Viking Marching Band, the VMB is a competitive ensemble that plays at football and basketball games along with traveling on the weekends to compete in competitions across Illinois. I have been in the VMB playing Bass Drum for the last 3 years and am continuing this year, of these 4 years I have also been a leader for 2 of them, our leaders are responsible for making sure that out of rehearsal sectionals and practicing are happening along with encouraging attendance and good habits. Additionally during curricular band I am also part of Band Board, a committee that helps with decorating and organizing music.
Viking Advisory and Mentoring Board
I am also super involved in VAMP our Freshman advisory, I have thought a class of freshman the ins and outs of the school for the last two years, this upcoming year I am on the advisory board which means in addition to teaching a class I will also be teaching the other mentors and teachers how to teach our lessons and making sure that everyone is up to date with what is happening.
Scouting
I am super involved in my Boy Scout Troop being an active Eagle Scout and trying to make sure that I go to as many meetings and events as possible to help out our future scouts.
